Overview

This editorial campaign reintroduces GAP’s new denim line through a bold, modern lens blending minimalism, movement, and elevated street style. The goal was to evolve GAP’s perception of denim from classic basics to fashion-forward essentials, showing how denim moves with real people and fits seamlessly into everyday expression.

The campaign was created using a hybrid workflow that combines AI video prompting, Figma, CapCut, and motion design. AI prompting helped define the visual tone, mood, and directional concepts early on.

To begin the campaign, I created a structured editing frame in Figma, laying out all the GAP editorial denim photos in equal sized frames. This allowed me to visually map the flow of the campaign, study the texture and fit of each jean style, and identify the strongest compositions for motion. Organizing the assets in a uniform grid gave me a clear foundation for sequencing, framing, and planning transitions before moving into animation and video editing.

Below I created the animation by duplicating my key frames in Figma, then layering high-resolution denim textures over each frame to build visual depth. Using Prototype interactions with timed transitions, I produced a rapid, editorial-style animation that mimics a video cut. This technique let me bring movement into the campaign using only still assets, creating a polished, fashion-driven sequence directly inside Figma

I transformed a single GAP editorial image into a cinematic AI generated video using KingAI prompting. By guiding the model to maintain the original styling, lighting, and denim details while introducing subtle movement, I created a polished motion asset that elevated the entire campaign. This allowed me to produce high quality editorial video content from still photography, expanding the creative possibilities of the project

I used CapCut to finalize the animation blending my Figma frame sequence with AI generated visuals, adjusting pacing, and adding subtle text animation for the campaign’s closing moment. This step unified all components into a cohesive, editorial-quality brand video that reflects GAP’s clean and modern aesthetic.
